  • Designed and delivered a full range of leadership development options including coaching for management, 360 feedback, employee training and development, and succession planning.

  • Introduced a number of personality assessment instruments to predict behavior and consequent performance, facilitate teambuilding efforts, and support leadership development. For example, increased employee understanding of customer behavior allowing the development of tailored sales strategies toward increased revenues.

  • Achieved major bottom-line impact through the successful recruitment of senior talent through the provision of advice and support to managers regarding significant personnel issues. Developed a behaviorally based recruitment process that predicts job fit and therefore, future performance.

  • Led the development of HR strategy and planning, partnering with senior management to ensure the alignment with business goals and the facilitation of organizational change.

  • Simplified the existing job evaluation process by developing a grade banding system saving significant senior management time and resources. Also, developed a pay for performance system for a Canadian and US business that supported morale, facilitated recruitment efforts, and strongly rewarded top performance.

  • Launched a managed care health plan that led to cost-effective usage of prescriptions, with no premium increases over a three year period where industry increases averaged 5 to 6 times the rate of inflation annually.

  • Led the development of a human resources intranet site that provided a communications tool for all employees and enabled the consistent, accurate and timely delivery of information. This improved service also levered available HR time and focus.
